The Aerospace Engineer III role is a full-time exempt position. The successful candidate will provide modeling & simulation engineering activities for next-generation missiles in close coordination with a customer team. The individual will be responsible for executing technical assignments working on a technical team and will report to a Program Manager within the Air Force Programs Business Unit.



  • Construction and development of flight-vehicle 6DOF models and using these simulations for guided weapon system and concept flight performance predictions.
  • Development and on-time delivery of technical products to our customers.
  • Design and evaluation of OML and feature updates, incorporating them into a 6DOF model, performing engineering analysis and trade studies to substantiate cost/benefits of the alternatives and leading to implementation on a technology-demonstration flight-vehicle.
  • Assist with program management with defining work products and delivery schedules.
  • Follow corporate policies and procedures in the day to day performance of duties.
  • Support other duties as assigned. 


Skills and Competencies

  • BS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is required. MS degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience required, preferably supporting the DoD industry.
  • Scientific programming experience in MATLAB and/or Simulink.
  • Experience with design, analysis, modeling, and simulation of aerospace systems.
  • Experience developing and presenting complex technical information via briefings, technical papers and project task reports.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a spirit of innovation.


Security Clearance

  • Candidate must have an active DOD SECRET security clearance.
