The Radar Software Engineer position is a full-time exempt position.  The individual will provide software development support in an agile team environment supporting missile defense systems.  The individual will report to the MDS Program Director.



  • Participates as a member of the software development team
  • Planning, scheduling, designing, implementing, integrating, and testing requisite software
  • Creates and maintains the development and continuous integration environments for the software
  • Develops software design documentation
  • Creates and maintains schedules for the implementation of software defect fixes and directed enhancements
  • Develops and presents technical briefings to leadership.

Skills and Competencies

  • B.S. degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related degree field
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of radars
  • Strong C++ software development
  • Agile process implementation
  • Ada software development experience desired
  • PERL script experience desired
  • Proficiency with UNIX or Linux operating systems
  • Able to work well in a team environment
